Nice Plate Holder

The frame itself is super solid as it is single piece milled construction, not stamped like many other frames. The LED's are nice and bright, bright enough that they provide extra light to the plate during broad daylight. At night the LED's really pop and have a nice bright white tone. I have no idea what the other reviewer(s) is talking about it not being bright enough, it's not a head light, nor is it meant to use for primary illumination. As a license plate bracket and light it does it's job magnificently.

Like others I had to trim my license plate to allow the (2) wires to pass freely, not that big of a deal though. I really do not see any other way to design the frame to allow the wires to pass by the plate without the wires being visible and/or the frame being bigger. Id rather trim my plate than add extra material to the frame or have wires coming out the side. I also had to trim the lower edge of the plate to allow the frame to sit all the way over the plate.

I do wish that the wires were wrapped together for a longer stretch, but that's nothing that some shrink wrap won't fix. As it comes the wires are wrapped together for about 8 inches and are wrapped individually the rest of the way. And why the wires are black and white I do not know (usually black and red), for reference the black is ground and the white is hot. For my 2003 FXSTB Harley Softtail I connected the white license plate frame wire to my blue running light wire and I connected the black license plate frame wire to my black ground wire. The frame was very easy to install using some $0.50 splice kits from the local auto store.

Overall I give the product an 9 out of 10. I had to take 1 star off because of the wires and the trimming of the plate to allow the frame to fit. Other than that it is a great product and it's shortcomings are easy to overcome and may actually work out better for those that do not have to trim their plates and need separated wires.

i didn't expect the frame to be this good, i expected it to be a bit flimsy as most license plate frames are, but not this one, it's pretty solid and has some weight to it

the LEDs light up perfectly, they do have a lil bit of a bluish tint to them tho, but not enough to get you pulled over

Great LED plate but need new mounting screws

Love the bright white LED's, makes the rear look so much cleaner, install was easy and there is plenty of length of wire to connect. My advice is to ditch the metal screws and get stainless steel ones, I live in Seattle and the ones that came with it rusted in a week. No complaint though, for the price of the plate, it's well worth it! It gets my thumbs up for a cool product!

And to confirm, it's plenty bright, the one reviewer must have got a bad plate, the product is solid.
